Feels like the sort of thing that with a little tidying up, or modernising, of the various fits and trim pieces it could look super slick

They couldn’t take their gear out before taking the pic? t’s the Springs so it’s not like being a soldier is that unusual, if they were trying to play that up.
I think there is a pretty good market for those Nardi Miata steering wheels.

You should see my buddy's mgb. It has an SR20DET in it. It's silly.

I love MGB GTs, but those seats are really terrible.

Silly? I think it would be way past silly into full-on awesome. Or it might be this.

after some quick googling, I found that s2000 engine swaps are very popular. I have desires now.

An MGB GT,
Feels like the sort of thing that with a little tidying up, or modernising, of the various fits and trim pieces it could look super slick
Like an MGB RV8 but with a hard top or fixed roof?
2003 MGB RV8 3.9 V8,
Factory hard top
Someone did do a 1994 MGB GT, 254bhp 3.9 V8.

I like this one, it’s a little more OEM and understated.

While the BGT is a handsome car, holy hell do they get hot inside. The Brits typically gave no thought or effort to heat insulation on sports cars because they didn’t have roofs. Put a roof on one and you’re fucking baking. Unless you live in England. It doesn’t help that in LHD countries the exhaust goes under the driver’s feet.
Maybe if you line the floor with Dynamat it’ll be better, but the B is much easier to live with as a roadster.

Idk Id rather have an older 70s one than that. But those crazy widebody fenders on that first one just look so wild. People would treat you like a celebrity out where I am if you pulled up in that lol

Ye’, some of the old MGBs while being essentially the same car, can look so different.
MGB GT V8 Sebring.
MGB with J & S hard top.
MGB with Ashley hard top
with Bermuda hard top.
Then the ones with the low lower valance.
without bumpers.
